Vizio VTAB1008 Tablet Features 8-inch LCD screen with IPS technology

Vizio has launched an American company selling tablet marked with VTAB1008.

Vizio VTAB1008 is based on LCD screen 8-inch IPS technology, working at the native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and equipped with a capacitive touch screen overlay.

The heart of the computer system is unspecified SoC, integrating in a single-core CPU clocked at 1 GHz.

VTAB1008-1 runs on Google’s Android operating system in version 2.3 and figures marked a dedicated user interface overlay on the VIA Plus. The buyer also receives a set of pre-installed applications VIZIO Internet Apps Plus.

The computer is equipped with 512 MB RAM, 4 GB Flash memory (2 GB available to user), microSDHC card reader that supports cards with capacity of 32 GB, and basic communication interfaces, including: Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, IrDA (the ability to work as a transmitter RC5), USB port, a VGA camera, active stereo speakers compatible with SRS TruMedia and HDMI output.

The device was sealed in housing with dimensions of approximately: 20.5 x 16.7 x 1.2 cm and weighs about 500 grams.

Retail price in a special package with a dedicated pouch and MicroSD memory card with a capacity of 16 GB is $ 399 U.S. The same device was valued at U.S. $ 379. Vizio VTAB1008-1 can be ordered directly from the manufacturer.
