LG Optimus Sol Features

LG has a new phone to its catalog. The Optimus Sol is 9.8 mm thick and features an Ultra AMOLED’ screen with a diagonal of 3.8 inches. According to the manufacturer, the device will come in mid-September in Europe.

In mid August, however, more hands-on of the device on a German site, and Monday, LG officially announced the device. Optimus Sol, with designation E730, running Android 2.3 and features what LG calls an “Ultra AMOLED’ screen with a diagonal of 3.8 inches. The resolution of the screen is 800 x 480 and the thickness of the device is 9.8 mm.

The Sol has a unspecified processor running at 1GHz, it is possible the single-core Texas Instruments Omap3630. The smartphone also has a 5-megapixel camera and support for DLNA Bluetooth and WiFi Direct alternative.
